I became inspired. But it was midnight and time for sleepies. So this morning I tried the same makeup with what tools I have. LOL...
LOL! No matter what I did, no decent pics were forthcoming. My face breaks the camera. Of course, this makeup is actually SUBDUED to what I normally wear (at least three different bright colours on my lids!). I just figured a neutral-y makeup would be different for a change. I don't think I can carry this off very well. I feel like I need lots of colours on my lids to hide those flaws there. As you can see, I have one droopy lid. I also have downturned eyes -- not pretty, sparkling, feminine eyes. *sigh*
The hair is later...lol.
Cherry is so sweet! Cute video! It's not hard to look wide-eyed and sexy when you have giant doe eyes like hers! Holy mackerel.
ReplyDeleteI want to see your colourful everyday makeup! I got a 100-colour ELF eyeshadow pallate for $15 at Winner's and it is awesome! All the colours of the rainbow. :)
Are you still wearing glasses? I feel like us glasses girls need to go the extra mile to make sure our eyes are even SEEN. :/
I'm going to give this a go - my eyelids are a bit hooded now with age:((( but I saw another tutorial that recommended extending colour and liner way past the outer corner to get a more "open eye" look. I love the colours she chose and you did a lovely, tidy job! xo
ReplyDeleteoh PFFT about not having feminine eyes. While I have the luxury of wonderful thick as shit eyebrows to angle (constant maintenance, lady!) I have been told I have down turned eyes. The way I handle the end parts of the eyeliner is, rather than turn them up for kitty eyes, I do a straight line that goes in the direction that my upper lid line is going rather than the lower lid, so it points down. DRAMA. Try it out.
