Barbecue Salad (1953)

This gem is from 1953. Jell-O and Hunt's Tomato Sauce combined, moulded, chilled, and served with a dallop of mayonaise. No, thanks. Sounds rather revolting.

  1. Jello has certainly come up with some "unique" recipes over the years....

  2. I remembered the first time I was served lemon jello with veggies in it gag. that being said I do have a really cute jello cookbook were you can make really pretty jello in a mold but I refuse to do a jello that calls for vegies.

  5. Hi, Vilte! I'm not a big do-er of the pinup looks, but please check out my blogroll on the right sidebar and I'm sure you will find something pinup=related there!
