1914 Fashions IN COLOUR!

Every now and again I used to pick a random year from the 20th century and post the colour fashion pages from Sears catalog from that particular year. It's time to bring back this post today with colour fashions from 100 years ago -- 1914. Enjoy.

  1. Very cool! Thanks for sharing. I love that bright green dress in the second photo, it sure jumps off the page at you. I can't look at the automobile scarves and not think of how an automobile scarf killed Isadora Duncan.

  2. I love the fashions from the WWI era because they are finally starting to ease up on the wasp waist look of the past 30+ years. The colors are great, too. Thanks for sharing!
