Early 1970s "Miss Rubette" dress
I have another dress from this "Miss Rubette" brand, which is just as epic. I went to the antique shop here today and I had to buy this beauty. The hanger does her NO JUSTICE. This dress fits me perfectly, but, unfortunately, I do not have proper undergarments right now to model it. Nor do I have my dress form right now. I'm staying with a friend until I move into my permanent apartment on June 10.

I MUST read back here to catch up! :) I really hope you're doing well, though...been super-busy with my new job for the past couple of months - a steep learning curve, but so far the boss seems to understand that. I'll find out for sure once this silly "3 month probation" period is over... :P :)
ReplyDeleteYea. I was seeing this guy at work and he told me I could stay with him until I can move into my own place on June 10. No sewing and it's driving me mad! LOL. Less than two weeks now. Just counting the days!
