Size 14 perfect fit. I will add, though, that the pattern cover is false advertising. View B, which I made, is actually high-necked according to the pattern pieces. Use View C's bodice front if you want the lower neckline.

Dress #2 -- Simplicity 1012 (1960s repro)

Didn't change anything, although I will make it in a 14 if I make it again (I made a 12). I don't bother matching patterns so it's all good to me. I had a limited amount of this FABULOUS fabric so I had to do what I could!

Dress #1 -- Simplicity 5240 (1972)

I came into a MOTHERLOAD of actual 1970s vintage fabric (FOR FREE!) and I can't tell you how happy I am about it. I feel the universe is finally making it up to me for all the crap it put me through between 2009 and 2015 LOL. SO I'm sewing like a MOFO right now.

Just one note about this. The hem you see on me is exactly where it is on the size 12. It is quite short for someone who is 5'7", but I guess the legs go well with the cleavage so win (?)
