This gem is from 1953. Jell-O and Hunt's Tomato Sauce combined, moulded, chilled, and served with a dallop of mayonaise. No, thanks. Sounds rather revolting.
I know this used to be a sewing blog, but I have only sewn two thing in two years. I plan to start doing in again in the upcoming months as...
Urgh! That looks disgusting!
ReplyDeleteJello has certainly come up with some "unique" recipes over the years....
ReplyDeleteI remembered the first time I was served lemon jello with veggies in it gag. that being said I do have a really cute jello cookbook were you can make really pretty jello in a mold but I refuse to do a jello that calls for vegies.
ReplyDeleteJell-O is one of my least favourite foods on the planet. lol. The texture makes me queasy.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog because I find out about different vintage starts :) I'm trying to recreate the vintage pin up look myself, do you have any tips that you could give me? xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi, Vilte! I'm not a big do-er of the pinup looks, but please check out my blogroll on the right sidebar and I'm sure you will find something pinup=related there!
